We’re excited to announce that for 2019 not one, but two of our interior design projects have been shortlisted for British Council for Offices (BCO) Northern Region Awards.
The BCO defines excellence in office space and recognise top quality design and functionality in workplaces by hosting a series of awards every year. This year Northern region awards ceremony will be taking place in May where we will be keeping our fingers crossed that our projects are selected as category winners.
Shortlisted Project: Radius Campus, Crewe
Category: Corporate Workplace Award (North of England)
Client: Radius Payment Solutions
SpaceInvader recently completed a commercial workplace project for Radius Payment Solutions. The £14million, 66,000 ft ‘Radius Campus’ opened last month in Crewe and accommodates over 500 people.
The Radius Campus is central to the company’s global strategy, and is the headquarters from which they operate 21 offices across 14 countries, providing more than one million fuel cards a year, as well as related services.
We were appointed to create an internal campus that would inspire people to develop both as individuals and as a collective team, driving productivity across the site and enabling business growth.
“The fundamental concept that drove the interior of this project was the individual well-being of each and every person that inhabits the space. An internal campus, complimented by multiple work and social spaces that are individually designed, were created to inspire employees to develop both as individuals and as a collective team, driving productivity across the site and enabling business growth, while also bringing the client’s brand and personality to life.” - John Williams, Managing Director at SpaceInvader.
Shortlisted Project: 35 Dale Street, Manchester
Category: Refurbished/Recycled Workplace Award (Regional)
Along with Radius, our team here at SpaceInvader is also proud to have a second scheme shortlisted for this year’s regional BCO Awards.
35 Dale Street in Manchester has been shortlisted for the Refurbished/Recycled Workplace award. The refurbishment of 35 Dale Street has delivered excellence in refurbished office product within a listed building for our client, Helical. Original features have been carefully exposed, restored and refurbished and new considered interventions have been made to deliver a high quality office space for occupiers.
These shortlisted projects follow a successful 2018, which saw us win two of the Northern region and one National Awards.
“We’re extremely proud to have not one but two project shortlisted in this year’s regional BCO Awards. The awards recognise excellence in workplace design, something we continuously pride ourselves on and I’d like to thank all the teams and partners involved in creating such innovative and ground breaking interior designs.” - John Williams, Managing Director at SpaceInvader
