Central Square

With arguably the finest design, specification and size of any building ever seen in Yorkshire’s capital, Ralph Capper was able create a breathtaking penthouse office suite worthy of the iconic building in the heart of Leeds city centre.

The Brief

Working with one of the region’s most prominent entrepreneurs and in collaboration with the project interior designers SpaceInvader, the brief was to create a space that would offer exceptional functionality for business use whilst also feeling like a real home from home.

With a classic contemporary aesthetic, the space offers comfortable yet stylish working accommodation for six people with the additional facilities of a boardroom, anteroom, kitchen, bathrooms and a relaxing outdoor space to enjoy the building’s panoramic views.

The theme of understated elegance is presented through a neutral but sumptuous colour palette providing a timeless backdrop to showcase bespoke design-led furniture, art work and luxurious and internationally-sourced finishes. The overall finish is a spectacular scheme that effortlessly combines commercial function with contemporary high-end style.

Unique Solutions

Throughout the project, each detail has been considered and chosen for its blend of visual appeal and practical application. This includes the creation of hidden walls and invisible storage solutions to house TV, computer, telecoms and other electronic equipment to maintain a clean, streamlined look.

A magnificent 26-seater boardroom with its floor-to-ceiling views of the city is the real pinnacle of the project. Specifically commissioned, the stunning bespoke table comes complete with hidden monitor screens at each place setting which can be exposed at the touch of a button. The impressive sculptural lighting installation by Enigma Lighting, was been designed and fitted over the length of the table as a true statement piece.

Outside, is an oasis of calm and tranquillity; commissioning and installing a living wall, butterfly hotel, hand-made bespoke pagoda and seating and marble-topped credenzas, as well as water features and a variety of topiary.
