Addleshaw Goddard

In November 2016, Styles&Wood completed the fit-out of Addleshaw Goddard LLP’s office in the centre of Manchester. Works comprised high-end CAT A and Cat B fit-out across the 5th, 6th and 7th floors covering 65,000ft2 of office space.

The building was fully operational with commercial office space being used by tenants and other contractors were working on other floors of the building so planning and communication were essential throughout.

“In terms of approach Styles&Wood worked in close partnership with Addleshaw Goddard throughout the process ensuring that from the start, design meetings were implemented on a weekly basis to ensure our vision was captured effectively. The design team ensured that the construction drawing process met the brief and that materials selected matched our quality aspirations. Throughout this process Styles&Wood were open in their engagement, asking questions and clarifications to ensure Addleshaw Goddard’s needs were captured and incorporated.”

Across three floors, we delivered worldwide conferencing facilities, client hospitality areas, a reception area, bespoke FF&E, open plan desk space, meeting pods and rooms, study rooms and a boardroom as well as state of the art catering facilities. With Metrolink construction work within close proximity to the site, close co-ordination was needed with other contractors in the vicinity to discuss impact on local infrastructure.

This was a totally new concept for the client as they had always worked in closed office space, as most of their work is of a sensitive nature.
